Guide 4/10

Registration and invite links

Teams register for a division on the Register tab of the tournament's public page. Once the registration is approved, the team gets a confirmation and its own management link by email.

Pages: Overview · Divisions · Teams · Basics

Open and close registration

Registration is opened and closed at the top of the Overview page with Open registration and Close registration. You set the deadline in the Registration section of the Basics page (Registration deadline).

The registration link already works in a draft, but the public page and the tournament calendar show the tournament only after it is published.

Approval

In a tournament made with the guided setup, every registration waits for your approval. Approve or reject registrations on the division page with Confirm and Reject. When several are waiting, Confirm all pending approves them at once.

If you want registrations to be confirmed straight away, untick Require organiser approval for registrations (invite-only tournament) on the Basics page.

Full division and waitlist

The division's Max teams is the limit for registrations. When the division is full, new teams go to the waitlist shown under Waitlist on the division page. If a place becomes free, you can move a team from the waitlist into the division.

An invite-only division

  1. On the division page, under Who can register for this division?, choose Invite-only — only teams added by the organiser and save.
  2. Create an invite link under Invite links. You can give it a note (for example the club's name), a maximum number of uses and an expiry date.
  3. Copy the link from the table and send it to the team.

An invite-only division is shown on the public page, but nobody can register for it without the link. You can also add a team yourself under Add team (admin) on the division page.

Price and extra questions

The registration fee is the division's price. Early bird prices are set under Price windows on the division page. You add your own questions to the registration form in the Registration section of the Basics page (Custom registration fields). In the same section you can write an extra message for the confirmation sent to the team.

The team's own page

With the management link the team manager fills in contact details and players, sees the match schedule and can write to you. Messages from teams are shown on the Teams page.
