Is this a safe platform for a children's tournament?
Yes. Personal data is stored in the EU, in line with GDPR. Photos of children are not published by default. Data requests are handled according to the law. You can find the privacy notice here.
What's included in the package?
Registrations, team portal, automatic match schedule generation, live results, referee tools, a public tournament page with maps, invoiced billing with a reference number, and a post-tournament report. The price is 6 € per confirmed team: no monthly fee, no hidden costs.
Can I try it before committing?
Get in touch and we'll open an account for you: it doesn't commit you to payment. You can create a tournament, leave it as a draft and explore everything. Before your first published tournament, we agree on the schedule and details together. It suits both a one-day small tournament and a multi-day junior event.
Can I import data from a previous tournament?
You can import teams and divisions with a CSV import as part of registration. We also support you during onboarding: we help import the data and check the match schedule before publishing.
Which sports does Turnauspolku support?
Seven sports: football, futsal, floorball, handball, ice hockey, basketball and volleyball. The results service, standings and terminology adapt to the sport: for example, in basketball the referee records points (+1/+2/+3) and in volleyball set scores, while ice hockey and floorball are played on a rink and penalties are recorded in minutes.
What if it rains and the schedule changes?
You can set an emergency/change banner on the public page with a single click. Parents and referees see the change immediately. Rescheduling matches is supported in the tournament-day schedule.
What happens after the tournament?
You get a post-tournament report: number of participants, division fill rate, results, payment status and plain-language suggestions for next year's planning. You can copy the tournament as a template for next season with one click.
How are results recorded during a match?
The referee opens their own link on a phone: no password, no app. On the match card the players of both teams are buttons, so the scorer is recorded by tapping a player — no typing numbers mid-match. An own goal has a button of its own and is credited to no player. If a team has no player list, the goal is recorded for the team. In basketball the buttons are +1/+2/+3, and in volleyball you record the set scores. A saved result appears on the public tournament page immediately.
